Interested in a new qualification in pain medicine or physiotherapy?

Examination for the European Diploma in Pain Medicine is scheduled for the 20th and 21st of April 2018.

The first sitting of the Examination for the European Diploma in Pain Physiotherapy is scheduled for the 20th of April 2018.

Unfortunately, postgraduate education in pain is not available in every European country. To improve the standard of pain assessment and treatment in Europe, the European Pain Federation EFIC has developed two qualifications.

The European Diploma in Pain Medicine (EDPM) was developed in 2016 as a qualification for all qualified doctors. The European Diploma in Pain Physiotherapy (EDPP) was developed in 2017 for physiotherapists. These qualifications aim to fill the gaps lefts in some countries, though they are open to healthcare practitioners across Europe and beyond. The next sitting of the Examination for the European Diploma in Pain Medicine is scheduled for the 20th and 21st of April 2018, while the first Examination for the European Diploma in Pain Physiotherapy is scheduled for the 20th of April 2018. Both Examinations will take place at the Gasthuisberg campus of the University of Leuven in Belgium. Registration is open until the 5th April, though places are limited.

Please find information on how to register via the European Pain Federation website www.europeanpainfederation.eu
